The Health Department is pleased to announce that there will be a Medical Camp at St. John’s Church, Entebbe on Sunday 27th September 2026. The objective is to provide promotive, preventive, wellness and basic treatment services to members of the congregation, including; 1. Health promotion and education on topical health issues. 2. Screening for non-communicable diseases. 3. Screening and treatment for common communicable diseases, including; Malaria treatment, HIV testing, Hepatitis B and deworming. 4. Nutritional supplementation: Iron, Vitamin A and Zinc supplementation. 5. Eye checks. 6. Dental care services. The Medical Camp will be based on the Biblical Foundation - Matthew 9:35: Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
