The Vicar leads the spiritual life of the parish through preaching the Gospel, administering the Sacraments, conducting worship services, and providing pastoral care to individuals and families during every stage of life. From baptisms and confirmations to weddings, counselling, visitation, and funeral services, the Vicar faithfully shepherds God's people with compassion and wisdom.
Working closely with clergy, lay leaders, the Parish Church Council, and ministry departments, the Vicar provides strategic leadership for the vision and mission of John's Parish Church Entebbe. This includes equipping believers for ministry, encouraging discipleship, strengthening evangelism, supporting church growth, and fostering partnerships that extend Christ's love into the wider community.
