Welcome to our vibrant Children's Ministry, often lovingly referred to as "Sunday School," where we nurture the faith of the youngest members of our church community, embracing children from 1 year to 12 years old.Our Mission
The Children's Ministry at St. John's Parish Church has a clear and heartfelt mission:
1. Spiritual Foundation: We aim to provide children with a solid spiritual foundation by introducing them to the teachings of Christ in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.
2. Nurturing Faith: We foster an environment of love, acceptance, and growth where children can develop a personal relationship with God.
3. Biblical Education: Through engaging stories, songs, and activities, we help children explore the Bible and understand its relevance to their lives.
4. Building Community: We encourage friendship, empathy, and cooperation among the children, building a strong sense of community within our church.
Sunday School for All Ages
Our Children's Ministry is designed to cater to the diverse needs of young worshippers:
1 to 3 Years: Even our tiniest members are not left out. We provide a safe and caring environment where they can play and experience a sense of belonging.
4 to 6 Years: In these formative years, children begin to grasp the fundamentals of faith through interactive stories, songs, and creative play.
7 to 9 Years: Older children delve deeper into the Bible, engaging in discussions and activities that encourage them to apply biblical principles to their lives.
10 to 12 Years: Preteens explore their faith in more depth, preparing them for a smooth transition into the youth ministry.
